The Hilton Anaheim sits in the middle of Orange County's Resort District. Every service and session happens inside the hotel, but the schedule leaves room to step out — here's what's worth it between sessions or on either end of the week.
Shopping & Dining
An open-air promenade of restaurants, shops and live music between the hotel and the parks — no park ticket required to walk through.
Food Hall
A restored 1919 citrus-packing building turned food hall, a few minutes' drive from the hotel — a couple dozen vendors under one roof.
Shopping & Entertainment
An outdoor retail and dining strip a short walk from the Convention Center, with a movie theater and a bowling alley.
Theme Park
An older, smaller theme park about a twenty-minute drive north in Buena Park — roller coasters and an Old West-themed ghost town, run independently of Disney.
Live Sports
Home of the Los Angeles Angels, a short drive from the hotel. Check the team's schedule directly — the Convention has no role in tickets or timing.
Beaches
Orange County's coastline is roughly thirty to forty-five minutes west by car. Huntington Beach is the widest and most casual; Laguna is the most scenic.
History & Pilgrimage
California's seventh mission, founded in 1776, about forty minutes south. A quiet, historic stop for anyone drawn to the older Christian landmarks of the region.
Family
A hands-on science museum in Santa Ana, a short drive from the hotel — a reliable option for younger children on a lighter-schedule day.
Theme Park
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure sit across the street from the hotel. Not affiliated with the Convention — buy tickets and check hours directly at disneyland.com.
